ok so a few weeks ago i read some blog that really spoke to me. essentially it implied that if i studied the ANIMATION in the new years looney toons marathon, it might be JUST the thing to improve my artistic skills. as an animator who has failed to get into the industry 3 and a half times (at the time), i was ready to grab onto anything that could make me the star that would SAVE the animation industry... just like in the dreams ive coveted ever so much since i was merely a child! (john k's blog)

i did just as this legendary prophecy told me to do and I have to say, it worked with wonders! but it didn't stop with just studying the animation. i recently found it made me even better to TRACE individual cels from some of the better cartoon classics, like one of my personal favorites, "mortimer mouse eats a sandwich". even more recently, i took it a step further and stopped actually drawing and creating characters, but instead changed my gameplan to JUST drawing the stars from these old cartoon hits. with utmost success in 2 weeks time i became a far better artist AND animator than the LOSER i was 2 weeks ago. and now im gonna prove it to you.

here are some of the things i've learned in my quest for stardom. maybe they'll teach you younger "newbie" animators a thing or two!

First off is a picture of the critically acclaimed goofy that i drew. i left the careful character construction so you fresher noobs can learn a THING OR TWO. (note to all of you fuckin idiots: THE CONSTRUCTION IS IN GREEN)

next is a PURELY constructed drawing of bugs bunny. you know, just for you fuckin dumb buttholes who couldnt grasp the radiance of the construction in the last one.

to boot, i also made a video for the dumb blind moronic pieces of shit harlequin fetus assholes that dont have good enough eyesight to properly visually grasp the fantastic work i laid out above. ENJOY IT AND DONT FORGET, SAVING ANIMATION IS CARING

(ps i recorded this with a cellphone camera so the audio quality is ba- I MEAN THIS WAS RECORDED IN ANIGEN STUDIOS INC WITH A LIVE CAMERA AND A CAMERA CREW, SUPERVISED BY CHUCK JONES HIMSELF.)

ur theory is great for learning how to animate or DRAW in period, and ill probably do some of that myself. One thing ur missing though is sure u can animate, but can u tell a good story? Chuck Jones wasnt just a great animator, he made some of the best comedy ever seen by human eyes. Animating it is only half the battle. Now can those animations tell a good story? and make u laugh? U probably know this already, but i think its worth a in depth look into.

I recently found out that bakugen brawlers was in fact a real show. A kid I teach left a toy bakugen at school, which I found and laughed at. I thought it was something that RTIL came up with in that one flash.
